About Me, the Founder
My name is Valeria, and I have been in the nail industry for over 10 years. I started the first Manicult studio in Europe in 2017, where it is now very popular. After moving to South Africa, I opened Manicult in Cape Town in March this year. We are excited to expand and grow the business here.
I am a nail technician, teacher, and creator of a signature manicure technique. I have taught over 500 students how to create beautiful manicures, pedicures, and nail art. I have earned three gold medals and won a national championship, a competition that celebrates skill in manicure and French polish techniques.
Nails are not just my job, they are my passion. As a perfectionist, I believe every detail matters.
Nails are more than just a part of your body; they are a canvas to express your mood, lifestyle, and personality. This belief inspired me to create a space where everyone can express themselves through their nails.
In addition to creativity, we bring a high level of hygiene to every service. I believe that nails are about beauty, cleanliness, and health.

Our Sterilization Process
Hygiene is very important at Manicult, and we make sure that all our tools and equipment are clean:
Step 1
After each client, tools are placed in a special disinfectant liquid.
Step 2
Tools are cleaned in an ultrasonic machine, making sure that dust in every place is removed from the tools.
STEP 3
We apply high-temperature sterilization to kill any remaining bacteria.
Step 4
Tools are closed in individual pouches, which we open in front of each client.

Our Team
Before joining the Manicult team, every nail technician must complete a training program. This program includes the anatomy of nails, skin care, manicure and pedicure techniques. After 2 to 4 weeks of training and passing an exam, our technicians are approved to work with clients.
Our nail artists are not beginners—they bring 1 to 3 years of experience and improve their skills to meet Manicult’s high standards.

I had an amazing experience at Manicult. If there is a salon that I would recommend, it is this one. The salon is super clean, neat and has a unique aesthetic. I went for a full mani & pedi with gel and I am absolutely loving the application and the colour. I love the nail & cuticle care on both my hands and feet. I have not been to a salon who can do cuticles like they did mine. Jesse and Ntombi took care of me. They were super friendly and professional.
